Kipu Ranch Adventures shares Kauai’s hidden beauty in safe, outdoor tours

Since 1999, Kipu Ranch Adventures is proud to be one of the top eco-tours in Hawaii. Named “Sustainable Tour Operator of the Year” by the Sustainable Tourism Association of Hawaii (STAH). After being shutdown for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour company is excited to welcome guests back to tour some of Kauai’s hidden beauty on safe, outdoor adventures.

“We really are blessed to be able to share this privately owned historic ranch with visitors and residents alike,” says Antone Teves with Kipu Ranch. “We offer visitors a chance to experience the untouched beauty aboard one of our Kawasaki UTVs. Tours are guided scenic tours with a classic stop-n-go flow full of history, culture, movie locations and aloha.”

While Kipu Ranch is an outdoor activity, it has implemented a number of health and safety guidelines to keep visitors and staff safe. Kauai residents are requested to affirm that they have not traveled within the last 14 days and visitors are asked to provide the proper documentation, whether that is a pre-test or if they’ve completed the mandatory quarantine.

All guests are also required to wear a face covering during check in and at any time where they are unable to safely physically distance from staff and other guests outside of their party. Kipu Ranch has also implemented increased cleaning of high-touch common areas, increased cleaning throughout the day for all restrooms, and hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the property.

Kipu Ranch is a 3,000-acre property extending from the Huleia River to the top of Mt. Haupu. It is also home to many movie sites and wildlife! The ranch has seen many changes throughout the years, ranging from its past as a sugar plantation to the working cattle ranch it is today.
